JUNCTION CITY - Jeff Quinney birdied the par-5 18th hole Saturday to complete his third round at the Oregon Classic and quickly headed for the nearest television.
Unlike fellow Eugene native Casey Martin, Quinney wasn't so much worried about the Ducks, scrambling on the road against Oklahoma, but his friend Paul Casey, who was representing Europe in the Ryder Cup.
"It's fun to watch him," Quinney said of Casey, a former teammate at Arizona State University. "He's a tough, fierce competitor, especially in match play."
