As you have probably heard, perhaps from Mike Shanahan himself, when it comes to football, Mike Shanahan knows a great deal.
In fact, he is very nearly omniscient, as they say of narrators in literature. So much so that it's really not worth his time to argue with people who have no idea what they're talking about. These are . . . well . . . the rest of us.
So giving advice to Shanahan is about as useful as telling Gary Bettman to lighten up.
