University of Cincinnati athletic director Bob Goin will get to move into his new office at the Richard E. Lindner Center at the $80.3 million Varsity Village. But he won't have to do much cleaning in the office. He will spend just six months before leaving his position as the athletic director in June of 2006.
"I'm not interested in maintaining a program, I'm interested in building it," said Goin, 67. "I'm a builder. I can walk away feeling really good with what happened. There's always work to be done, but one won't be a conference and one won't be facilities."

... ... I see an opening in the Big East and I would get to pick ... man who is leaving, Bob Goin, did about as fine a job ... he marketed UC into the Big East. It's quite a legacy ... nervous is the fact that Goin is leaving so soon ...
