SAN JOSE, Calif. _ After taking a great white shark on a wild road trip from Malibu to Cannery Row, the Monterey Bay Aquarium put it on exhibit Wednesday _ the only great white on display in the world today.
Hours later, the young shark lunched on some salmon fillets _ the first time a great white has accepted food from its captors, and a sign that maybe, just maybe, the aquarium can accomplish something else that's never happened before: keep a great white shark on long-term display.
