A homecoming celebration to mark its 95th anniversary is planned at 8 and 10 a.m. Oct. 3 at Grace Lutheran Church, 493 Forest Ave., Glen Ellyn.
Members have much to celebrate as the church has played a major role in the community for years.
Everyone who grew up at the church has been invited to attend so invitations have crossed the country to Florida and Arizona, where many longtime members have retired.
In preparation for the celebration, members of the congregation have been asked to suggest hymns so that favorites can be included in the services. Former and current church members and ...
