For 35 years psychiatrist Armand Nicholi has taught a popular course at Harvard University that compares the writings of Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis. The course chronicles the men's early lives, their later relationships and their approaches to love, death and, most important, faith.
This month, Sept. 15 and Sept. 22, PBS will air a four-hour series based on the course. One of Nicholi's former students, a documentary maker, initiated the film series after Nicholi published in 2002 The Question of God: C.S.
