HARRISBURG, Pa., Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- On behalf of Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell, Community and Economic Development Secretary Dennis Yablonsky today announced that the Community Action Commission of Harrisburg has received a $325,000 grant through the New Communities-Elm Street Program. The money will be used for neighborhood revitalization efforts in the South Allison Hill area. In addition, Steelton Borough has received a $25,000 grant through the Elm Street program for neighborhood redevelopment planning efforts for areas just outside of its downtown area.
