EASTSOUND, Wash., Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- In a competition beset by grief at the death of competitor Nigel Aylott, first place in the Subaru Primal Quest adventure race was shared by Teams Seagate and Nike ACG-Balance Bar, as they finished in a collaborative tie at 7:19 p.m. PST.

The race, which began on September 19th at 7:50 a.m., was expected to last from five to ten days, but was cut short by the accidental death of Nigel, who suffered fatal head injuries after being struck by a boulder on Tuesday, September 21st.
