No bologna! Professional mechanics put metal-cutting circular saws through their paces
There's good news if you've ever drooled over a plasma cutter at a farm show but couldn't justify the four-figure price. A new portable metal-cutting circular saw provides many of the benefits of a plasma cutter at one-fourth the cost.
The new saws are rated by their manufacturers to cut 1/4" to 5/16" mild steel plate and leave a burr-free edge that's cool to the touch.
