By switching to natural gas for metal cutting a Nashville-based barge building company has realized close to a 90% savings in operating costs. Along with the cost savings have come cleaner operation, less maintenance, and improved safety conditions. The company is also using a new device manufactured by G-Tec of Cincinnati to raise natural gas line pressure up to the levels required for their cutting operations.
