Electronic Defense product - survey deals with the all-pervasive power supply. Few EW devices operate without a power supply. Even so-called passive devices require the efforts of processors, and processors demand power supplies. Last month we surveyed the digital RF memory field and were troubled by the dearth of manufacturers. This is not the case in the power supply sector; rather, it was a challenge to find a suitable taxonomy to describe the large variety of systems which are properly described as power supplies.
