The recently completed PANAMAX 04 exercise that brought together U.S. and hemispheric naval assets from the Americas offers considerable future promise for regional cooperation in the Americas, according to the Navy admiral who led the maneuvers.
"In coordination with the government of Panama, it is anticipated that PANAMAX 05 will be more complex and involve more Central and South American partner nations than PANAMAX 04," Rear Adm.
