In March 2004, Greg Bond of Dallas, Texas, hunted lesser kudu in the Murulle Concession in Ethiopia's Omo Valley. Nassos Roussos was his professional hunter, and American booking agent Rich Elliott was accompanying Greg and Nassos. The party had seen quite a few big lesser kudu, but Greg had not been able to get a decent shot at one.
Traveling up a sand river on the extreme eastern edge of the concession, they spotted this enormous lesser kudu, and Greg collected it. It should be the new Safari Club International world record.
