BANGKOK, Thailand (PNA) Bangkok, known to the Thai as Krungthep (City of Angels), was established by King Rama I as capital of Siam in 1782.
The soaring roof and gleaming spires of the Grand Palace and the citys many historic temples Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Temple of Dawn and other evocative shrines present the visitor a picture of medieval Oriental wonder; the very stuff of Eastern fairytale.
Just recently, Reli Tours whose general manager is Jocelyn C. Lirio and Philippine Airlines, organized a familiarization tour of Bangkok for tour operators.
