Sep. 30--PANAMA CITY, Fla. -- Downtown revitalization efforts received a potential boost this week with the announcement of Panama City's selection for a new state tourism-marketing program.
Visit Florida, in partnership with 1000 Friends of Florida, pegged Panama City as one of three pilot cities for its "Downtowns and Small Towns" campaign. The other cities selected for the project are Miami and Palatka.
