DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Sep 29: It is suspected that the present eye infection is being caused by the Adeno virus. Therefore, parents have been advised to keep their children in home and do not send them to school in case they have developed an eye infection.
This was stated by Dr Rehan Zaffar, an eye specialist while talking to inp here on Wednesday.
Dr Rehan said that at present this ailment is not an epidemic but if the hot weather persists and rain occurs it may also take the shape of an epidemic as this virus spreads through water.
