ORLANDO, Fla. _Amid Sunday's John Lynch lovefest a more obscure _ but no less emotional _ reunion will take place when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-3) host the Denver Broncos (2-1) at Raymond James Stadium.
"Denver was Denver. Now I'm a Buccaneer," said LB Ian Gold. "I just look forward to playing football."
Gold played great football for the Broncos from 2000-03, reaching the Pro Bowl following the 2002 season. He blew out a knee last fall _ in a contract year _ and the team decided not to re-sign him.
Now Gold said he hopes he can make the Broncos regret that decision, though revenge is not what will drive him. The ...
