ST. LOUIS, Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Allan W. Purdy, a member of the Board of Directors for the Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority (MOHELA) for more than 20 years, announced that he would step down after his term ends on October 22, 2004. His career has focused on making college education affordable for thousands of students.
Purdy was recognized by the MOHELA Board in ceremonies on September 30. He began his career in higher education lending as the first director of the University of Missouri's Financial Aid Office.
