TONY and Cherie Blair will let their new [pounds sterling]3.6 million house to help pay the mortgage, sources revealed today.
Even so, the grand central London address will mean the family having to pay at least [pounds sterling]50,000 a year from their income or savings to finance the purchase.
The sum should be no problem for the Blairs, whose combined income is about [pounds sterling]300,000.
Unlike most career families they have low outgoings as they live in the grace and favour flat above 11 Downing Street at virtually no cost.
