Many elected officials on both sides of the aisle are expressing concern about the deteriorating security situation in Iraq. Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-NE), recently said "We are in deep trouble;" and Senator Joe Biden (D -DE) stated that "there's a fundamental disconnect between this rosy picture that is being painted and the reality of what's happening on the ground."
