The Difference Between A Contractor And An M.I. Dealer Was Not Always Apparent At NSCA 1992
For years, sound contracting and m.i. retailing were viewed as separate and distinct businesses. However, at the recent National Sound and Communications Association show, held at the Anaheim Convention Center April 27-29, the distinctions seemed to blur noticeably. While the show is primarily the domain of sound contractors who make their living installing sound systems in hotels, amusement parks, churches, and anyplace else that needs sound, a surprisingly large number of m.i. dealers turned out to take the pulse of the market.
