LONDON (FNS) -- Adrianna Papell has formed a joint venture with Robert Janan U.K. Ltd. to market its silk dresses and blouses throughout Europe.
The venture, called Adrianna Papell U.K. Ltd., has a showroom here and is equally owned by the two companies, said Mel Turkel, a principal in Robert Janan.
The company will begin selling the collection in August for delivery in January 1993. Turkel projects first-year sales in the U.K. of about $2 million and he hopes for similar sales in Continental Europe.
Adrianna Papell already sells in the U.K., Finland and Switzerland. The collection wholesales for 75 to 125 pounds ($135 to $225). David ...
