Mo Jourdane and Dorothy Johnson have been on the front lines of the struggle to secure rights for farm workers in San Diego County. Jourdane, a San Diegan, is an activist, author and former lawyer for the California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc., which is based in San Francisco, and Johnson is the directing attorney for its Oceanside office.
On Oct. 16, at the National History Museum in Balboa Park, that hope will be reflected as the CRLA honors San Diegans and institutions for their efforts to improve the lives of farm workers here.
