Flash memory card outfit SanDisk Corporation has introduced the SanDisk Photo Album (SPA), a sleek little device that lets consumers view digital still pictures or video clips on a TV set without having to connect or download anything to a PC first. With the SPA, users can store, organize and view digital images by attaching the device to any TV set with an audio/video input.

The front of the unit has four flash memory card slots that support eight formats - CompactFlash Type I/II, SD MultiMediaCard, Memory Stick/Memory Stick PRO and SmartMedia/xD. The back of the unit has two USB sockets. One connects to a PC; the other can host a portable USB flash drive. ...
