Roberto Domenech, of CEPA, the Argentinean association of poultry processing companies, has said that the industry will invest a total of Pesos$150mil in expanding its installed processing capacity in 2004. The industry, which almost disappeared in the 1990's amid the invasion of Brazilian imports, now feels that the country can have a leading role in the global poultry market.
