Tesco is making it easier for customers to wave goodbye to the North-East and head off on holiday with the opening of the nation's first own brand supermarket-based travel money bureau in its Kingston Park store.
Shoppers can now pick up commission-free currency at the same time as their groceries.
The in-store travel money bureau is open seven days a week and operates until 8pm on weeknights.
