THOSE of us who do not care for the vagaries of political allegiances know that there is only one really special relationship enjoyed between us and America - the one based on popular music.
Our politicians may sometimes struggle to reach a sympathetic audience out in the wilds of our former colony, but the citizens of the USA are all ears when it comes to the musical sounds of the Brits.
