The Brazilian development bank BNDES (Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Economico e Social) will inject R$400mil resources in the railroad concessionaire Brasil Ferrovias, manager of three stretches in Sao Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul and Mato Grosso states. This operation integrates the debt management deal inked between the company and the entity concerning a debt of R$1.5bil. BNDES will become a shareholder in Ferronorte, Brasil Ferrovias' controlled, marking its return to this segment.
