New York, N.Y. -- There is no ivy creeping up the outfield wall here, no Green Monster standing tall beyond the grass in left. There is no bay behind the right field bleachers where souvenir geeks troll in kayaks to scoop up home-run balls hit out of the park. There is no retractable roof to comfort or exploding scoreboard to entertain the fans.
