Legg Mason Investments has appointed Richard Gillham as portfolio specialist.
Gillham has joined Legg Mason Investments from Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, where he was a senior US equity product specialist. Gillham joined Merrill Lynch in 1997 and became a chartered financial analyst in 2000.
In his new role, Gillham will focus on strengthening Legg Mason's service and flow of investment information to its clients.
He will be a link between the investment managers and Legg Mason Investments' top-end investment intermediary, discretionary adviser and asset manager clients.
