More than 65 cities representing 30 states have now joined the American Dream campaign and will hold events this week--and in some cases over the coming weeks--to focus on action steps to strengthen access to the American dream.
The national discussion on roles, responsibilities and program strategies gets underway officially on Tuesday morning with a special discussion in Washington, D.C., entitled America's Cities and the American Dream: A National Town Meeting. Former CNN Bureau Chief Frank Sesno will lead that discussion, which will be broadcast live on the Internet at www.nlc.org.
