MIAMI, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Discovery Cruise Line, the largest carrier of passengers from South Florida to Grand Bahama Island, announced that it has revised its schedule for going to dry dock. According to Hanns J. Hahn, General Manager of Discovery, "Initial plans were to have the Discovery Sun in dry dock in January 2005; however, some of the resorts on Grand Bahama are closed temporarily because of the hurricanes and they will need the business in January, which is the beginning of the new season." Thus the decision to discontinue sailing during a time when some of the resorts cannot accept guests because of renovations, and to be available to transport visitors ...
