NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT-6 October 2004-Sweden to cut alcohol tax in 2005 - report(C)1994-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com
The Swedish prime minister Goran Persson has reportedly said that Sweden would probably cut taxes on alcohol at the beginning of 2005.
The prime minister said that since Denmark, Finland and Germany have no plans for increasing their taxes on alcohol, Sweden would have to cut the tax in order to bring prices on level with neighbouring countries.
