Oct. 7--How many people does it take to change a Plaza Christmas bulb ... into something else?
At least one, armed with a glue gun.
With copper wire, paint and googly eyes, Prairie Village artist Jenny Isenberg crafts burned-out Country Club Plaza Christmas lights into bugs, bunnies and other bulbous creatures.
The Plaza's bulbs are red-hot mementoes of Kansas City's beloved holiday lighting tradition, which marks its 75th anniversary this year. And the bulbs may get even hotter after this week.
