Jul. 18--Three business agreements spanning the rubber and textile industries were signed in China during the Thai business delegation's visit this week.
Thai Hua Rubber Plc Ltd will sell 40,000 tonnes of natural rubber to Shanghai Tire and Rubber for US$35 million or 1.4 billion baht. The company also signed an agreement with Zing Tao Free Trade Zone for a joint venture to establish a factory in the zone to make tyres and rubber glove.
Lakchai Kittipol, Thai Hua's managing director, said the firm shipped about 120,000 tonnes of rubber to China last year, 10 percent more than the previous year.
