NEW YORK -- Richard Tofel To Leave Dow Jones & Company To Become President of The International Freedom Center
The Wall Street Journal today announced the promotion of Penny Abernathy to senior vice president, international and development, from vice president, planning and business development for The Wall Street Journal. Ms. Abernathy will replace Richard J. Tofel, vice president and assistant publisher, The Wall Street Journal. Mr. Tofel is leaving the Company on Oct. 15 to become president of The International Freedom Center, constructed on the site of the former World Trade Center.
