Article: Dunhill Holdings net up 4.6%. (earnings report for the year ending March 31, 1992)

LONDON (FNS) -- Dunhill Holdings PLC, which this week aquired Karl Lagerfeld SA, Tuesday reported a 4.6 percent increase in after-tax profits to 48,260,000 pounds ($87,830,000 U.S.) on a 12 percent rise in sales to 254,60,000 pounds ($463.3 million) for the year ended March 31.

This compares with after-tax profits of 46,150,000 pounds on sales of 227,280,000 pounds the previous year, the group said.

Earnings per share rose 4 percent to 28.4 pence (51.7 cents) from 27.3 pence. Currency conversion were made at the rate of $1.82 per pound.
