Jun. 12--Thomas L. Foster has been named vice president of circulation for the Asbury Park Press.
Foster, 53, comes to the Press from the Des Moines (Iowa) Register, which is also owned by Gannett Co. Inc. He had been vice president of circulation for that newspaper since 1998.
Foster, who started his new job Monday, replaced Gary J. DiSanto, who became vice president of circulation for The Cincinnati (Ohio) Enquirer, another Gannett newspaper.
Foster's circulation responsibilities also include the Ocean County Observer and the Times-Beacon group of weekly newspapers.
