Oct. 7--NORCO, Calif. -- The 171 acres of land at Hidden Valley Golf Course will be included in a study to determine whether it should be rezoned for open space, the City Council decided Wednesday.
The council voted 3 to 2 to include the golf course in a program under way that would update the open space portion of the city's general plan.
The Planning Commission had recommended the council change the golf course's zoning from hillside -- which allows low-density housing -- to open space, which prohibits any housing development.
