Jun. 6--Enron's strikeout has turned into a big hit for Minute Maid.
The Houston Astros on Wednesday announced a new naming-rights deal with Minute Maid, which is owned by Coca-Cola. The Astros' baseball stadium now will be called Minute Maid Park, wrapping up months of work to replace the Enron Field name.
For Minute Maid and Coke, the move is a first-ever naming-rights deal, at a cost of more than $100 million over 28 years.
"We'll get a good return on that investment," said Don Knauss, president and chief executive of Houston-based Minute Maid North America.
