May 11--Woodstock-based Colony Homes has named Ron Peiffer, 51, as its new chief executive officer.
He will take over from Tom Bradbury, Colony's CEO and chairman of the board. Bradbury will focus on his role as chairman.
Peiffer, who has been with the company 17 years, is the former president of Colony's Raleigh division.
"Colony has grown significantly in the past several years," said Bradbury. "Our strategic plan for the next 10 years is extremely aggressive, and Ron's promotion is an important step in carrying out that plan."
