Apr. 19--Ability Building Center in Rochester broke ground Thursday on a $1.6 million, seven-month expansion and renovation project.
Steve Hill, ABC's executive director, said the construction will increase program space for people with disabilities and special needs. The expansion will add 7,500 square feet to the ABC building at 1911 14th St. N.W.
"Once work is completed on this building, it will represent a greater opportunity for people to utilize the resources available here," Hill said.
