Saturday is a day of rest for most but not for Grant Cooper. Yet this doesn't seem to bother him too much.
Now in his eighth season as resident conductor of the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, Cooper is looking forward to leading "A Symphony Spook-tacular!," this season's first concert in the Central New York Community Foundation Family Series. The show is at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the John H. Mulroy Civic Center, 411 Montgomery St., Syracuse.
It's one of the few things that adults can do with their children and have a meaningful shared experience, Cooper said.
