They vote for themselves. They vote for those who can't. They vote because of those who want to stop them from voting.
The authors, poets and musicians who gathered together to address the topic "Why I Vote" on Wednesday, the first day of the Wisconsin Book Festival, all had different reasons for going to the polls on Nov. 2. And they urged the audience at the Wisconsin Historical Society to find their own reasons and vote as well.
