ORLANDO, Fla. _ This should be prime time for Florida's U.S. Senate race.
The hurricanes are over. The candidates are bringing in political hotshots and airing TV ads in places they can't always visit. The vote is just 24 days away.
The problem is, voters don't seem to care.
Noise from the presidential race, where Florida is still a toss-up, has made things pretty quiet for Democrat Betty Castor and Republican Mel Martinez.
