To the Editor:
Letter-writer Edward Z. Menkin bemoaned the lack of campaign coverage and advertising we in New York are getting. While I don't miss the mudslinging ads, I too resent the fact that New Yorkers aren't being courted for their vote.
The obvious reason is the outdated and unnecessary Electoral College. The United States is no longer the land of unschooled farmers that it was at the end of the 18th ...
