Key Technology is introducing G6, a new modular electro-optical foundation for their Tegra and Optyx optical sorting systems.
Embargoed until October 4, 2004, the G6 features a modular vision engine and an array of monochromatic, color, and VIS/IR cameras.
The new G6 platform also has connectivity standards such as Camera Link, FireWire and Ethernet that maximize the underlying technology's flexibility. The open-source Linux Operating System offers security and long-term development and support.
