The PPP scheme in East Lothian, Scotland, again hit the headlines this month after a classroom ceiling collapsed in a school which is being refurbished under the deal.
The incident at Musselburgh Grammar happened in an English classroom last week, minutes before a class of children were about to go into it.
Initial investigations pointed towards the heavy rain the previous night as the cause of the collapse, but a spokeswoman for East Lothian Council denied this was the case.
She added that the roof was currently being repaired and that the classroom would be usable within days.
