ESTABLISHED in 1904 as the Manila Business School (MBS), this higher educational institutions growth has been at pace with the development of the nation, a testament to its ability to respond to the educational needs of the country. In 1908, the school was renamed the Philippine School of Commerce designed to produce office workers, clerks, and bookkeepers for a fledgling Commonwealth bureaucracy. Close to five decades later, in 1952, the school evolved into the Philippine College of Commerce (PCC) offering degree programs in the various fields of business and management.
