Oct. 12--Sacramento -- more than a bathroom break.
This year more tour buses en route to or from destinations such as Lake Tahoe and Yosemite are stopping here for a night's stay, not just a three-hour break in Old Sacramento.
Tourism officials credit bolstered marketing efforts, a national tourism rebound and the free publicity Sacramento has enjoyed over the past year courtesy of California's globally known actor-turned-governor.
